Location

Unicentral accommodation is located right on the boundary of the University of the Sunshine Coast campus. Step outside our security gated housing complex and onto the footpath leading to the University class rooms and other facilities. A 5 minute walk or bike ride will get you to class and the bus station. 

UniCentral is located in Sippy Downs - named the "Knowledge Hub" of the Sunshine Coast.  Amenities include supermarkets, fast food outlets, medical centres, pharmacy, hairdressing and a tavern. The many picturesque lakes can be enjoyed from various waterfront parks and picnic areas and can be accessed by numerous walk and bike paths. Running tracks and outdoor circuit training facilities exist for the fitness concious.  It's a safe neighbourhood for peaceful walks, or to exercise in the parks in the nearby area.

A Central Bus station located at the University of the Sunshine Coast will take you to the Sunshine Coast's amazing surf beaches  -  Mooloolaba beach and Alexandra Headlands are a 15 minute drive away. Located a 15 minute drive from UniCentral, Sunshine Plaza is home to numerous department stores, shops, cafes, restaurants and a cinema. Ocean Street Maroochydore is a hotspot for great food and local live music.

Walk to the local shops for supplies between 5 minutes stroll to 20 minutes depending on your shopping needs. There is a free courtesy bus for residents which runs twice a week to the local supermarket.

There are many sporting venues and fun parks on the Sunshine Coast, including the world famous Australia Zoo, the Big Go-Kart Track, Sea Life and Aussie World.
